Great initiative. One thing - at least in Europe, most of the funds go towards the salary. So maybe if the funding goes to a lab which already has the man power, more % of the funding would go to the experiments themselves? Anyway, I support:)

Salary is the killer everywhere, even though in academia salaries are 50-75% discounted relative to industry. Mouse costs come next.
