Dear VitaDAO Community,
I am writing to draw your attention to my recent ban from the VitaDAO Discord server. I believe this ban was unfair and goes against the very principles of our community.
On September 19th, I joined the Discord server and posted an introduction, which was unfortunately flagged by the automod. I then sent a direct message to a moderator but received no response. Shortly after, I was banned from the server.
This ban raises serious questions. Questions about fairness, about community, and about the very principles of decentralization that VitaDAO stands for. If a contributor can be silenced without reason, what’s to stop it from happening again? What kind of future are we building if voices are stifled?
I would like to request the following:
- That a different moderator review my case.
- That I be given a chance to rejoin the community.
- That I receive an explanation for why I was banned.
Thank you for your time and consideration.

Self-Introduction:
Hello everyone, I’m Joe, and I’m very excited to join the VitaDAO community!
As a full-stack developer, I’m currently deeply interested in the DeSci field. I’m also the founder of a previous decentralized technology community, which has given me firsthand experience in building and growing a Web3 group. I’m a huge fan of VitaDAO’s unique model and hope to contribute my technical skills to the DeSci space.
I’ve already taken a look at the onboarding process on your forum and am excited to get started. Here’s how I plan to contribute:
- I plan to join a pod and become a builder.
- I’ll help fix some of the bugs and form issues on the website to ensure a smooth user experience.
- I will attend calls to understand the technical needs of the community and the broader DeSci field, and explore building products like Arbrai that use technology to empower scientific research.
- My professional background is in DeFi, but I’m much more passionate about DeSci.
While I acknowledge my limitations, I believe a positive attitude and proactive action can effectively make up for any gaps in experience. More importantly, I’m confident that our shared consensus on VitaDAO will always transcend individual differences.
I look forward to growing with this community in the DeSci field.
DM:
My name is Joe. I apologize for sending this direct message, but my previous self-introduction was caught by the automod.
As a full-stack developer, I am currently focusing on DeSci (Decentralized Science). I’m actively looking for an opportunity to join a pod to contribute my skills in web development and AI/LLM applications.
I’m very excited about the work being done here and hope to contribute to the community’s mission.
