What do you all think of using a knowledge graph to build out the overview of different biomarkers and their strengths and weaknesses, as well as to manage attributions of who contributed how much to this collective knowledge? We could use lateral.io for this, and collaborate with https://graphlab.addpotion.com/ (that we supported via LongevityPrize where VitaDAO is one of the contributors)

This could then be turned into a review article published in a decentralized way (also on researchhub) + video (with eleanor sheekey + vitadao) + on vitadaos web page potentially

This also ties into the The Longevity Prize on biomarkers btw for those interested to participate in it

I think we should try our DeSci options and attract more interested people. After we’ll have done several iterations on the whole pipeline – and once the result is really good – we can consider publishing the review traditionally. Thanks, Vincent! I’ll check the links you posted.

yes absolutely agree, we can create multiple version, ideally we get to something interesting in say next 2-4 months.

I think a knowledge graph is worth considering later on, or as one or more figures. First step is get a draft on paper. Then start refining the draft and deciding how in-depth this review will be.

I agree with @rpill that we should aim for publishing in a peer-reviewed journal as a review, which limits the length somewhat.

I’m digging out from my Oct, but hopefully will be caught up by next week.

If we can get the first review done, then we can worry about writing the 500-page longevity textbook one chapter at a time.

@evgenity welcome to the group! If you want to work on the neurologic markers, that would be great. Do you have a timeline for that section?

Hi, @evgenity! You’re an IT guy, right? I would assume writing on bloodwork panels and deep learning models is more in line with your expertise. So how about you write on panels then, and I take the neurologic markers? I’ve gotten some papers on panels in Zotero.

One way of finding new papers would be throwing them together on ResearchRabbit or a similar website and seeing what the algorithm suggests.

Hi guys,
I just found my way here over from the longevity prize. This is a very nice initiative. I am a researcher in neuroscience and metascience with a fairly strong background in biomarker research. Would like to help. I think the most valuable contribution I can make is to help go over the text and propose edits for accuracy and clarity. Will start with some notes in the existing doc.

Got some text for co-morbidities up into Strygah’s document, and addressed some of Gustav’s comments there.

Looks like we still have age clocks and biomarker panels to add in. Neurologic is in outline form, and phenotypic markers could be fleshed out some more.

@evgenity How is the panel text coming along?

I’d like to shoot for getting these tasks completed in the next week. If you need more time, please let me know the timeline. If I do not hear from you before Thanksgiving, I’ll start finding other people to get the parts done.
