VitaDAO is permissionless - Any individual or organization can join VitaDAO. The cooperative structure of the organization relies on principles encoded into its structure. One of these principles is that no single entity - even a large one - can dictate or veto a decision against the will of the community. On the technical level, VitaDAO is a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) built around the principles of blockchain-based smart contracts and tokens. This means the rules and processes defining VitaDAO’s operation are publicly visible, automatically enforced and cannot be changed without a formal vote by the community. By using blockchain technology to decentralize power, the community as a whole owns, runs, and works for VitaDAO.
