The project is devoted to increasing translation fidelity. None of the hit compounds affect the global translation rate. And when the reviewer says the data are contradictory, I would love to know exactly what is meant here. I have ideas what the contradiction might be, but knowing what the reviewer’s line of tho

it’s ok! I’m more just echo-ing @rpill 's thoughts that the reviewer did not really explain themselves, which makes it difficult to respond to
