# How are voting rights determined?

VitaDAO members are in control of all on-chain governance decisions by voting on VitaDAO proposals. Proposals vary by type and follow the process specified in the [governance framework](https://gov.vitadao.com/t/vdp-1-vitadao-governance-framework/40/9). Proposals are prepared by working groups and service providers appointed by members.
